Jensen Turns One!

We had a fantastic time at Jensen's First Birthday! Lots of friends to celebrate with and so fun to have the family from NY and CO come to the party! Jensen was hilarious with the cake; he really was not interested and it made for fun Jensen watching! Happy Birthday, Jensen!!

Swim Lessons & The Zoo

Andy and Elle have had Saturday morning swim lessons for the last couple of weeks and it has been a lot of fun (mostly) for both of them! Sometimes Elle does not want to do what the instructor says so that can be extra fun for dad! But it sure does make for fun pictures!

PapaSwan and G gave us a family membership to the Atlanta Zoo for Christmas and we took a trip last weekend! It was so much fun for the three of us! Elle loved the elephants and flamingos the best; she spent a half hour at the flamingo exhibit and we had to bribe her with the elephant exhibit to convince her to keep moving! It was a great time! Thanks G and PapaSwan!

Second Christmas

Monica, Jensen, Elle and I flew to Chautauqua, NY to visit family and SURPRISE my parents that were also visiting! They did not know we were coming and we gave them a heart attack when we ran into living room when they arrived! It was a fabulous four day trip and there was more snow than in December! It was a wonderful second Christmas celebration with almost half the family there including Gram, my parents, uncle Jim and aunt Judi, aunt Suzanne and Scott drove from Penn State! We had a blast!!

22 Months

It is crazy that Elle is two months away from being two! We really cannot believe it!
We have had a busy winter so far with two beautiful weddings (YAH Lori and Hal!), hanging out with friends, daddy-daughter swim lessons on Saturday mornings and lots of other kids activities! Check some some recent pics.

Swimming & Snow

Andy and Elle decided to go swimming at the Y on the coldest day of the year! They had a lot of fun! It snowed today! Since we get snow once every couple of years, it was a pretty big deal! Elle was not too interested since she just saw 10 times as much in NY. Elle is 21 months now! She talks and sings all the time so there is never a dull moment!

Merry Christmas! Sorry about the delay with posts! It has been a busy December!

We had a wonderful Christmas - first at The Barfields and then in Chautauqua NY at Gram's house. We had so much fun and so did Elle! We had a wonderful time playing in the snow!

Holidays are here

Traveling to Colorado for Thanksgiving and all the fun holiday activities have delayed a blog entry! We had a wonderful week in Boulder for Thanksgiving - almost 30 for dinner at Lindsey and Clays! Check out the pictures!
